The Global Lean Alliance (GLA), an initiative by Demarken Group in Australia and Productivity People in New Zealand, is gearing up for great new customer offerings post the COVID-19 lockdown. On the back of a major client engagement in the USA, the joint approach to institutionalising continuous improvement best practices was discussed in recent virtual conference.
With GLA members dialling in from Queensland, Sydney, Wellington and two other locations in New Zealand, the Demarken Group team walked through their Gearbox assessment process, while Productivity People shared their progress on their tiered lean transformation engagement model.
“Leveraging capability, capacity and connections for lean transformations globally” is the purpose that motivated Keenan Jansen and Geerten Lengkeek, co-founders of the Global Lean Alliance last year. The GLA will have professional services firms of various disciplines aligned around this purpose, with an engagement method that underscores our values of respect for people and continuous improvement and an integrated management systems approach.
